Viking Ocean Cruises Announces 10 New Itineraries, More Than 30 New Ports

Cruise News – Jun. 10, 2016

Viking Ocean Cruises has announced the addition of 10 new itineraries to its 2017 and 2018 sailings, which adds 36 new destinations for the line. The new itineraries include destinations in Europe, the Americas, and the Caribbean, including Cuba.

“As we continue to grow our fleet, we have more opportunities to offer guests new and different options for experiencing the Viking way of destination-focused cruising,” said Torstein Hagen, Chairman of Viking Cruises. “Our guests are experienced travelers who are curious about the great art, history, and cultures of the world, which is why we design our ships and itineraries to help immerse them in the destinations they visit.”

With sailings from Bergen, London, New York, Puerto Rico, Venice, and more, itineraries range from 8- to 22-day multi-country sailings. New ocean itineraries include in Norway, the Mediterranean, the British Isles, South America, the Caribbean, Central America, Cuba, and the Amazon River.

Viking’s 930-passenger ocean ships currently include Viking Star and Viking Sea, with four more — Viking Sky, Viking Sun, Viking Spirit, and another yet-to-be-named ship — launching in early 2017, late 2017, 2018, and 2020, respectively.
