• MSC Sinfonia is the latest MSC Cruises ship to be cut in half and enlarged as part of the line’s major rehab program. • The animated film Tangled will debut as a live perfomance for the first time on Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Magic. Tangled: The Musical, an original show production, will feature Rapunzel’s fairytale world in lavish production numbers and include three new songs created for the show by Academy Award–winning composer Alan Menken. The fun starts in November…

• Celebrity Cruises signed a new deal with Bravo TV that includes a “Top Chef at Sea” theme cruise on Celebrity Reflection in the Caribbean. On board the sailing, embarking November 14, with be chef’testants such as Top Chef New Orleans runner-up Nina Compton and Top Chef Boston runner-up Gregory Gourdet. The program includes Quickfire Challenges for passengers and a special “Top Chef Night” menu in the dining room on nine ships…

• Holland America Line’s new Koningsdam, which debuts next year, will homeport in Fort Lauderdale’s Port Everglades for the winter 2016/2017 season, doing 7- to 11-day Caribbean sailings. There will also be a 4-day Bahamas cruise in November 2016. Port calls include the line’s private island, Half Moon Cay. Longer itineraries will explore the Southern Caribbean…

• Un-Cruise Adventures is the first cruise line to partner with the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch program, officials said. The line has committed to serving only seafood caught or farmed in ocean-friendly ways.
