MSC Goes LEGO Crazy

Cruise News – Oct. 31, 2014

MSC Cruises has a new partnership with LEGO that includes special playrooms on select ships in Europe and a bunch of new entertainment options fleetwide.

Guests of all ages will be able to compete in LEGO competitions and games during a new LEGO Experience Day on every sailing. Participating children will receive a LEGO Junior Master Builder diploma.

There will also be opportunity to pose for photos with Sailor Walkabout, the LEGO sailor mascot, and to purchase LEGO sets in shipboard shops. A LEGO MSC Cruise Ship toy is under development.

In addition, MSC and the LEGO Group will debut a new themed play area on MSC Armonia, currently in drydock and scheduled to re-enter service in Europe on November 19. Several other ships, including the line’s newbuilds, scheduled to debut in 2017 and 2018, will also get the LEGO playrooms.
