Princess Cruises going hip with new nightclub

Taking a page from South Beach, Regal Princess will launch its first Caribbean season from Fort Lauderdale in November with some cool new nighttime experiences, including the WaterColor Fantasy musical fountain show, as well as the newly announced nightclub, The Night Sky Lounge.

As the name implies, it’s outdoors, set up around the top deck Retreat Pool one night during the cruise, and will feature hip lighting, glowing drinks, and a DJ spinning tunes on a state-of-the-art system under the night sky (admission is for a nominal fee).

Guests will be able to sip cocktails in the two Jacuzzis, bartenders will put on a flair bartending demonstration, and big spenders can reserve a private cabana with bottle service.
