A Taste of Nassau

When cruisers arrive at a port, it’s best to have a plan. Some may prefer organized shore excursions. Some may want to explore on their own. In either case, making last-minute choices when you arrive on-island is not always the best way to go.

I’ve seen cruise passengers disembark totally flustered because they didn’t do any research about the destination. They visit a few tourist shops and then return to the ship, wishing they had seen more. Don’t let this be you.

The other day I took a wonderful Bites of Nassau Food Tasting & Cultural Walking Tour with Tru Bahamian. I learned about the tour because before getting to Nassau, I checked websites including TripAdvisor to see what was trending.

My companions on the tour – there were six of us cruise passengers off Norwegian Cruise Line and Carnival Cruise Lines ships – had similarly done research, and landed on this new offering.
